Company: DANZENYOGA
Artistic Director/Choreographer: Milva Rinadelli

Milva Rinadelli began classical and tap dance at 4 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of 8 she attended an intensive workshop at the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires which changed her life for ever. At 11 she entered Argentina’s National School of Dance “Maria Ruanova”. After 7 years of study she graduated as a professional dance instructor, continued her studies at University of Art in Buenos Aires, Argentina and graduated as a professor of classical & modern dance. During the same period she received a national scholarship to attend an intensive 3 year course in contemporary dance at General San Martin Theater, Buenos Aires. She soon founded her own dance company “Los Pastelitos de Smucker”, and worked as a choreographer/director for 1 year. That same year she danced for Miguel Robles & Maria Jose Goldin with whom she traveled throughout the Mercosur (Brasil, Uruguay, Argentina). In Los Angeles she danced for Regina Klenjoski Dance Company 3 years. She performed in various music videos, theatrical tango and contemporary jazz. She choreographed in the play “La casa de Bernarda Alba” for Havana Fama Theater Company, Hollywood. She performed in works by Melinda Ring, Yolanda York, Carla Lubow, Kiha Lee, Akwetta Colbert, Albertossy Espinoza, Yvonne Papanek & more. In 2009 she received her power yoga instructor certificated after 10 years of study. 2010 brought a prestigious “Lester Horton Award nomination for “Sweet Love”, a duet performed with Albertossy Espinoza. 2011, she founded her own Theater Dance Company in Los Angeles, called WESONIC ARTROUPE. For which she currently produces, directs, and choreographs. Part of the cast for “Victor Victoria” Musical Theater as a dancer/singer. She taught Power Yoga in Brazil and Argentina. Another beautiful project she made in 2013 was a Kids Musical Video for Playing for Change where she choreographed “All is Love”. The last and most important creation was DANZENYOGA FOR KIDS in 2012 , a unique , fitness and wellness program to train kids (ages 2-18) in dance, yoga and gymnastics. This program also have their own Dance company called DANZENYOGA FOR KIDS! For the last 13 years she specialized and focus her career teaching kids dance, movements, yoga gymnastic, theater at different areas all over Los Angeles: Fox studio of dance and gymnastics, Fusion Dance Academy, after schools programs: Fullbright Elementary, Roosevelt, Adams, Franklin, Culver Montessori, Beverlywood Montessori, Shining Path Montessori, Mc. Kinney, University Synagogue, & more. Dance , yoga, and Art remain the most important part of her life and she continues to pursue this passion in her teaching, educating, choreographing, performing and exploring the language of body and emotions.



Company: San Pedro City Ballet
Choreographer: Danielle Ciaramitaro has been studying dance with San Pedro City Ballet for 12 years starting at age 5. Although a ballerina at heart, she has trained in various styles of dance including modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, and Broadway. She recently received a $1,000 scholarship to AMDA's High School Summer Conservatory program and gained an incredible experience working with professional Broadway stars, dancers, actors, singers and directors of all sorts. Danielle is finishing off her last year in high school enrolled in a homeschooling program to center her focus on performing arts and further her career.



Company: San Pedro City Ballet
Choreographer: Enrique Anaya a dancer with the San Pedro city ballet who happened to end up under Cindy Bradley's wing, is now in training to become a professional dancer with his dream company. Although he has faced many obstacles along the way, he is a determined soul working hard to turn those dreams into a reality. He has been dancing for 4 years and training in classical ballet for only 1 of those years. His goal is to pursue a career with the American Ballet Theatre and walk in Misty Copeland's footsteps. He also hopes to make an impact on ballet's diversity.

Rubans Rouges Dance Presents ~ Summer Series 2016

Summer Series is not a dance festival, it is a series of works. Our 4th Annual Summer Series features: Rubans Rouges Dance Company's repertoire concert, 3-4 incredible Guest Choreographers, and by popular demand, this year we are reprising "MOSAIC" in our programming which is a special uplifting show spotlighting the youth in the community, faith, and inspirational pieces.

Company: PTERO DANCE
Artistic Director/Choreographer: Paula Present

Paula Present is the Artistic Director and choreographer of PTERO Dance Theatre. The company received grants from The City of Culver City, four times from the Puffin Foundation and twice Durfee Foundation’s ARC grant. PTERO has garnered two Lester Horton awards and numerous nominations in Outstanding Performance and Outstanding Choreography. The company has performed at numerous LA venues, as well as New York, Tijuana, Mexicali, San Diego, Palm Desert, New Mexico, and San Francisco. She has choreographed six full evening dance works with the company, and several commissions, including for the runway for clothing line, Gypsy 05, at the Vibiana.  For TV: Season 8 of Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Music videos: Fanfarlo (Harold T Wilkins), Beirut (Elephant Gun).  Film, Bombay Beach, winner of Best Documentary at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. For Theater: Culture Clash’s Bordertown and Anthology, Herbert Siguenza’s A Weekend with Pablo Picasso, and Los Doppelgangers, a collaboration between Richard Montoya and Guillermo Gomez Pena at UCLA’s Fowler Museum. Ms Present was selected as distinguished alumni by her college, UCSD, for a campus wide banner campaign, for being a “dreamer, risk taker and leader who are achieving the extraordinary, possessing the University’s spirit of innovation, discovery, and entrepreneurial drive”.

Company: Kenneth Walker Dance Project

Kenneth Walker Dance Project celebrates is 10th year of bringing Contemporary Ballet to life in the Los Angeles area. KWDP grew out of the time when Kenneth, a dancer with the former Ballet Pacifica at the time, and a few of his colleagues created a show to perform at a festival. The success of this project spawned a collaboration that was brought home to the community in which Kenneth was born. KWDP’s first dancers volunteered their talents and time to grow the organization into an exciting collaborative rather than a traditional company. Kenneth invites the thoughts and ideas of his dancers when creating new works and offers dancers the opportunity to find their own voice within the work.  The sheer breadth and style of contemporary ballet this company performances is lauded and by fans every time they take the stage. The company presents annual concerts and has appeared at festivals throughout LA, including the Pasadena Dance Festival, Los Angeles Dance Invitational, Mix Match Festival, Palm Desert Choreography Under the Stars, Dance! Now at the Miles Playhouse in Santa Monica, MADBAD Festival in the San Francisco Bay Area, AAPHERD Southeast Conference in Virginia, Central Coast Summerfest in Monterey, California, American Dance Guild‘s annual showcase in New York, Golden West College Professional Dance Invitational, and twice at Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC.

Company: Luminario Ballet

Luminario Ballet is an award winning contemporary ballet and aerial dance company from Los Angeles. Luminario Ballet’s repertory ranges from neoclassical choreography: Michael Smuin of San Francisco Ballet; Classic Modern: Lewitzky Dance Company; cutting edge contemporary ballet and aerial dance, such as artistic director Judith FLEX Helle's World Dance Award award nominated "Lift Ticket" and "LedZAerial" (ballet and aerial to Led Zeppelin), and Cirque du Soleil's Debra Brown's dance theatre piece "Brace Yourself". Highlights include opening the 10th annual Miami Dance Festival in 2013. Luminario Ballet choreographs and dances commissioned symphonic works with the Los Angeles Philharmonic (Copeland's "Rodeo"), Le Salon de Musiques (Schubert's "Winterreise"), Dana Point Symphony (Stravinsky's "Firebird", Tchaikovsky's "Tempest”) and others. Luminario Ballet's repertory includes the Eco-Ballet about our environment, "TRAILS", with images from NASA, and music by Philip Glass. Luminario Ballet performs in TV, movies, and music videos, and is represented by the Movement Talent Agency.

Company: MULTIPLEX DANCE

Taiko Composition: Shih-wei Willie Wu

A fresh face on the Southern California performance arts scene, Shih-wei (Willie) Wu is already proving himself a creative and prolific Taiwanese-American composer, musician and choreographer. His focuses include music composition, Japanese Taiko drumming and shakuhachi, and ethnomusicology. He holds a B.A. in music from UC Riverside and a M.F.A. in music from UC Irvine. Having appeared in many venues from Hollywood Bowl to Carnegie Hall, his works and performances emphasize intercultural themes and a fusion of Western Classical music and choreography with postmodern culture, technology, jazz and various non-Western musical traditions.


Dmitry Kmelnitsky: is the founder and creative director of Lustre - a multimedia art studio, producer/creator behind musical act KEMELL and Associate Professor of Multimedia Arts at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Dmitry Kmelnitsky holds an MFA in Design|Media Arts from UCLA. Born in Soviet Ukraine and raised under Hollywood’s mythical glow, Dmitry Kmelnitsky has envisioned multimedia and time-based artworks for the stage, the screen, the gallery and the city. Working at the crossroads of art, design, music, film and architecture, Kmelnitsky’s multi-disciplinary art explores the transformation of surface, form and space to facilitate transcendent states and experiences infused by myth, memory, and culture. From projection-mapped installation environments, concert visuals, video art, musical compositions and multimedia performances, his work has been presented nationally and internationally at diverse venues such as Art Basel Miami, Art Platform, Grand Performances, John Anson Ford Theatre, Glow Festival,404 Festival of Art and Technology, Gallery 825, and the Fowler Museum at UCLA.

Company: Hart Pulse Dance Company
Artistic Director/Choreographer: Amanda Hart

Celebrating its ninth year, Hart Pulse Dance Company is one of Los Angeles's most consistent non-profit contemporary dance companies,  just recently mentioned in The New York Times for their annual MixMatch Dance Festival. Having launched their first California tour this past March in Santa Barbara, HPDC has touched down in Visalia, San Francisco and will be wrapping up in Santa Monica on August 29th at The Miles Playhouse. Known for their dynamic partnering and personal, positive themes, Hart Pulse Dance aims to bring dance to the forefront of LA's entertainment scene, providing exciting dance works that captivate and leave their audiences wanting more. A California native, Amanda Hart's early training began with the Sierra Performing Arts Center in Visalia, CA under the technical instruction of Susan Pallas and Melinda Cordell (ABT). After winning many awards in the competition dance world, she was accepted into The Fresno Ballet Company during her senior year at Lindsay High School.  She continued on to receive her BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts in 2005. Amanda was accepted in the Strathmore and Cambridge Women's Who's Who and was nominated for a 2009 Horton Award for Outstanding Production of a Festival or Series. She was recognized as a Woman of Outstanding Leadership in 2014 by The International Women's Leadership Association and had the pleasure of accepting the Best Dance Company of 2013 and 2014 awarded by the Pasadena Awards Program.  Miss Hart is the Artistic Director or her own, Hart Pulse Dance Company, Amanda Hart Dance studio and annual MixMatch Dance Festival, which were recently mentioned in The New York Times and LA Weekly, and was recently appointed Board Chair of the Dance Resource Center of Los Angeles.

Company: LA FUSION Dance Theater
Artistic Director/Choreographer: Albertossy Espinoza

Albertossy Espinoza founded Los Angeles FUSION Dance Theater in 2004 to expand the boundaries of dance performance by fusing dance, music, costumes, acting, lighting and set designs to create a new world on stage. Through its repertoire, the company touches upon many daily and social issues as well as emotions. With trained dancers the company offers a broad range of skills both to performance and teaching. Each dancer offers a different form of dance style and uniqueness that make the company very versatile. The mission of Los Angeles FUSION  Dance Theater is to fuse together the rich diversity of different cultures through dance. LAFDT serves as a forum for collaborations among artists and educators to share their talents with the community and the world. The artistic philosophy is to contribute to the art of dance with creations of innovative work and integrate the practices of performance and teaching. Through music and movement, Los Angeles FUSION Dance Theater welcomes you to a wonderland in which dreams and reality come together as one.  A FUSION of life!

Rubans Rouges (roo 'bon rooj), French for Red Ribbons founded in 2009 by dancer and choreographer: Noelle Andressen - Professional dancer, choreographer, dance educator, special events producer/presenter and show curator. Having danced for over 25 years, Noelle first enjoyed a pre-pro dance career in a dance ensemble that toured Southern California. Her education includes: AA Moorpark College; BFA-UNLV; and currently pursuing a MFA. She's studied Horton and Graham techniques; studied at Alvin Ailey NYC workshops/classes during her company’s 2013 tour. In 2009 she merged dance and her Emmy nominated film-making to form professional, multi-media company: Rubans Rouges Dance. She produces: “Awakenings & Beginnings Dance Festival” at Diavolo Space. This is an annual dance festival that incorporates seasoned professional choreographers who desire to further awaken their craft and present new works; and also for the professional emerging artists who wish to share their artistic beginnings. Other Sold-Out shows includes: Summer Series Showcase, "Red Ribbons & Memories"; "Secrets & The Silent Rose"; Co-produced "UNDRESSED" 2009 at Moorpark's Performing Arts Center and solely produced "Dance Expo 2012, 2013"  READ MORE HERE
