Noelle Rose Andressen often is an expert source for media, news, articles and more. However, she is never anonymous and there is always a written agreement and proper citation of credit and quoting. Additionally, she is also a journalist as well as a professional dancer & choreographer among many of her other talents. Of late we've had instances where excerpts of our private conversations were gleaned from and used as a source for the above stated and more. We've written cease and desist letters to various entities to refrain from doing this. It is a violation of privacy among other things. We and Mrs. Andressen is more than happy to assist journalists or institutions in their goals of reporting, but we will legally pursue anyone who violates hers or our rights. This means of access is something she, us, we never agreed to. We are investigating matters deeply and will update everyone as we also discover through the various phases of our investigation. If anyone spots our work, conversations, or property in another derivative form other than what we initially intended, please inform us immediately. Noelle Rose & her family come a multi-ethnic heritage with lineage that traces through several continents & countries including: Italy; Spain; Africa; Mediterranean; Balkan & Latin Cultures; Croatia; Germany; Greece; Native American Tribes; Armenian; Asian; Switzerland; England; Scotland; Ireland; Austria; and many more. We've always taken pride in the fact that our company reflects Noelle Rose's family and because of that we are multi-racial; multi-generational; and very inclusive in various races; faiths; ages; disabilities; economic cultures; various lifestyle choices; and sizes. The Car Accident On October 1st, our Artistic Director, Noelle Rose Andressen-Kale died in a car accident. She and her family were hit by man driving a red truck. The man was later arrested that night for DUI. Noelle's husband and son survived the impact. Her son was in the hospital and currently uses a cane to walk. Noelle herself, died at the scene.
To our knowledge, the man that hit them was said to be a street racer. He also didn't have any insurance on his vehicle. Noelle's family are seeing about what they can do legally. At the moment, the man is currently in jail and will most likely be staying there for a long time.
In memory of Noelle,we are going to do a Memorial Dance Show. At the moment, we do not have an exact date set. We are still looking for a space to do this performance. We are looking for a space that can fit 200 people at most. Obviously admission to this will be free. Anyone that doesn't want to go in person will be able to watch via a livestream.

We have not put together a budget for this. So we are going to do a GoFundMe.
We will set a goal of $10,000. The funds will help pay for a space, dancers, crew and for anything else that may be needed for this event. Anything extra will go to Noelle's family to help them pay for any costs incurred as a result of the car accident.

It's here! "Awakenings & Beginnings International Dance Festival"! The First Dance Festival of the Year for Los Angeles produced by Emmy nominated producers and EMA Media Award Winners - Respect Earned & Given. Produced in prestigious venues across the country such as Ailey's Citigroup Theatre, off-Broadway Joan Weill Center for the Dance Arts, Diavolo, and more. This year's theme for our tenth installment is BREATHE. This is NOW a 6 months long dance festival, first of its kind in Los Angeles. If we don't get a performance space for the main stage performance in 2020, we'll extend the dance festival's other aspects until 2021. Whatever it takes - we will make this a success! Professional Dancers - Choreographers - Teachers! We want you! Thus far we have incredible artists submitting that once again have impressed us but our roster is filling up fast. We're so pleased that we not only have been able to get our festival back up and running after narrowly surviving two catastrophic accidents, but we've expanded it to be 6 months long starting January 3, 2020 until June 30, 2020. As we find ourselves in an underdog situation, Rejoice with us as we found the diamond in the rough and have most definitely made lemonade from lemons and found the beauty in all things. With a zero budget this year we've found very creative, ethical, and professional ways to prosper. As we've posted on Ms. Andressen's social media accounts and ours, there has been a mix-up/mistake as Diavolo double booked us. So, we are all working together to remedy this situation professionally, respectfully, and timely. We owe it all to Ms. Noelle Rose Andressen, who is more than a heroine to us. Her fierceness and powerful passion ignited more brilliantly than her red hair. To honor her we decided it was fitting for her to lead the way with grace, beauty, and strength. She chose to donate her talents and concept for our poster. Thank you for the beautiful photo shoot. Thank you to all those who are helping us, you know we love you. We'll be sure to give extra shout outs for your kindness and help. We also thank you for recognizing not only Noelle Rose Andressen's strong dance technique, but her powerful display of not giving up. She has worked very hard to rehabilitate and we and others believe she'll be an even stronger dancer than before. As she states, "I'll just do it all in pain. I'm not quitting. I'm not intimidated. Once you've been through hell, the rest is easy."
Festival Update: Hello Beautifuls & Beloveds <3 🌹🎀💪🦋 While I'm not on line much if at all lately, please know that my wonderful staff and supporters are always helping me. A wise leader surrounds herself/himself with wise people and we try to do that at Rubans Rouges® RED Ribbons™. There's so much goodness in the world, one just needs to look for it and embrace it when you find it. We are not only celebrating the arts, but we're celebrating life. Our "Awakenings & Beginnings International Dance Festival 2020" has been up and running. Just awaiting the main stage performance at our friend's space at Diavolo for 2020's date. It will happen, but we thank you all for your patience. Our team has been in contact with Jacques and at this point we keep missing each other's calls. We want to be open and professional and as loving as possible with our friends in updating everyone and we send a HUGE thank you to all for your patience. Apparently a critic gave us a negative review on this piece; stating it only gave good photos, not kinetic, too emotive. All are entitled to an opinion, but so are we. You're wrong Mr./Mrs. Critic in our opinion. We received many more positive reviews on this piece. We also asked prior to the performance not to be reviewed for personal reasons & concerns. Makes us ask a lot of questions about intentions presently as why none would abide by our wishes. It also seems someone copied this style and won contests with it. We also have, were given/shown videos of all the participants who received very nice reviews. We'll just let everyone see for themselves. If you'd like copies of all emails/communications we're glad to share. To also ensure that we're not opposed to critiques, or others attempting to straw-man us or Mrs. Andressen-Kale, we've had some less than perfect reviews but we agreed with them and made changes, thus resulting in a mutually healthy relationship so we could improve. This was not one of them. Mrs. Andressen is the most hardest on herself, no one critiques her work harsher than herself but in this case she states, "...except for the new lift at that time with the footing issue, it was solid. We've more than overcome that 1 count of 8 since. Plus Lois & Mike really loved it and thought we did a great job with Coeur...so I don't know what that critic's issue was. My director Craig said I'm a very smooth dancer more than most dancers, especailly this piece. If this reviewer wanted something that didn't have holds in it, they should have watched my other piece: ROSEWOOD or view left/below of this box: "V130 3 Women..." aka: Rosewood" I choreograph differently for each piece. Coeur is about trust and suspending it in "holds". Just a choreographic style we chose originally performed to Zoe Keating Legions. We've done Coeur without the "holds" too (seen left bottom) and that also is a legitimate way to perform it. The beauty of modern dance is that you can choose."
